GESTALT 1/2006

                                                                GESTALT 1/2006

Dear Reader,

You have just opened a new issue of Gestalt magazine. What will you find there? Wiktor Żłobicki presents his research results. It's worth reading how Gestalt works in pedagogical practice. We should stress that the author's research is innovative in Poland. Iwona Paszenda shares her reflections on modern education. School, relation teacher- pupil is always a current subject. We can never say too much about ethics. A psychotherapist from Italy Anna Ravenna presents her opinions about deontological issues. The text by Barbara Czarnecka and Sebastian Szczypiński presents psychotherapeutic practice. Therapists and patients presented this special form activity - participation in a theatre performance. "The concept of three lacks" - is the first part of the publication concerning work with people with suicidal tendencies. Naming and putting in order - these are most important phenomena typical of the creation and development of those tendencies. On the second page of the cover there is a picture of Michèle Combeau, an external supervisor of the Institute. She is one of the most important people in the history of our Institute. Simply and briefly she told us about herself. This is Michèle - readable without too many words. Many things are happening in the issues related to the profession of psychotherapist and practicing psychotherapy in Poland. Bogusław Włodawiec presents deep analysis about the consequences of the entry into force of the Law on the profession of psychologist. We are writing about an important event - granting and handing our ECPs to Polish psychotherapists. You can read more about the Law which will regulate some issues concerning the profession of psychotherapist. There are interviews with our guests: Giorgios, who conducted the first workshop for men in our Institute, with Lynda - full of Gestalt and Nurith who is involved in important social and political issues. From the Institute offers I particularly recommend Bodywork School for professionals conducted by Katarzyna Węglorz - Makuch and Beata Leśniak with the participation of Jim Kepner and a yearly training cycle for supervisors - a completely new project. At the end of the issue we placed a questionnaire. Please fill it in and send back to us. It will help us to edit Gestalt even better.
