GESTALT MAGAZINE

                                                                GESTALT 2/2006

Dear Reader,

It's been 15 years. Gestalt has been read since 1991. This period has also been the period of the development of Gestalt psychotherapy in Poland. Jacek Pierzchała together with the Gestalt Therapy Centre started this period. Presently in Poland there are a couple of centers created by graduates from our Schools. Clients can come to several private offices. We can often meet our psychotherapists working in ambulatories and hospitals. The present time is the great work and success of the Institute Chairperson Katarzyna Węglorz - Makuch, during whose term of office the Institute obtained EAP and EAGT accreditation. In this respect the Institute is the only such place in Poland.
On the pages of our magazine you can find the reflection of what has happened, is happening and is going to happen in Gestalt psychotherapy and in psychotherapy in general.
No entry into force of the Law on the Profession of Psychologist and Professional Self- government and legal regulations of the profession of psychologists are issues of primary importance. We are writing about them in this issue.
Gestalt in always open to guests from abroad. We have a few of them now. I thank them for accepting my invitation, I also thank also Polish authors for their articles.
Once again I invite everyone, for who the subjects of our magazine are close and who would like to be present on our pages. I also invite our old, present and future readers to subscribe our magazine.
