    Assumptions:

This course is addressed to psychotherapists who want to include bodywork to their methods of work with clients.
Bodywork is particularly close to the authors of the workshop who are Gestaltists, because the basic assumption of Gestalt is holism in experiencing and understanding other people. Hence we believe that body and bodily aspects are as important in psychotherapeutic work as other aspects of human existence.
Our curriculum is the result of our long experience in applying bodywork in psychotherapy and the training with Jim Kepner in the gestalt method of bodywork. To our course we invited experts who have large knowledge and experience as well as passion. in their areas of specialization.

The curriculum includes the following subjects:

  • Dependence between psyche - soma - health
  • Presentation of psychotherapeutic body - oriented approaches
    (Reich, Lowen, biosynthesis, somatotherapy, Keleman)
